Risography is a craft printing process at the crossroads of offset printing, screen printing, and photocopying. The Riso color palette is not standardized and includes unique, vivid, blurred, metallic colors such as fluorescent orange, fluorescent pink, or gold. The paper goes through the machine again for each color, and alignment imperfections are inevitable, which gives risography its charm and makes each print truly unique.
The eco-friendly plus: RISO technology is based on a cold printing process that consumes very little energy.
